Student cards
Besides using your Student Card as your University ID, you can also use it for:
- travel concessions (if you're eligible)
- borrowing library books
- printing and photocopying
- student discounts
- after-hours access to buildings (with relevant faculty staff approval).
You need to carry your Student Card with you at all times while you're on campus and display it when you sit formal examinations.
Student Cards enhance security and personal safety within the University and provide you with a convenient multi-purpose card. It also serves to identify you as a student of this University should you need to justify your presence in selected areas of the campus.
Any attempt to obtain a University of Sydney Student card fradulently or improper use of your card will be dealt with under the appropriate University policies.
Your University of Sydney Student card is not valid if mutilated, defaced or damaged.
