- 10.00am I started my day with Australian Studies. In this class we are learning about Australia’s involvement in international wars, such as World War I and the Vietnam War.My classmates are giving presentations on this topic.
- 11.00am English is such an enjoyable class. We are reading a poem by a famous poet and then analysing it.
- 12.00pm Great it’s lunch time. I usually go to Cafe T’s at the bottom of the college to have lunch and meet up with my friends. We catch up with each other and chat about various things.
- 1.00pm Government, Law and Information is one of my favourite subjects. In this class,we always learn something new. Today, we discussed how globalisation is affecting the sovereignty of Australia and other countries.
- 2.00pm My next class is Social Science. We are learning about the similarities and differences between various world religions by listening to presentations given by our classmates.
- 3.00pm I spend my next one hour break by checking my emails in the computer access room or by borrowing books for research in the library. The library is also a good place to study when I have an hour off.
- 4.00pm I have Media and Communication Studies. This class is always exciting as we always have fiery discussions amongst my classmates on various topics such as media ownership.
- 5.00pm School is over at 5pm. There are no more classes for the day. I have decided to go to a sushi place in the city to have dinner and catch up with my best friends. It’s great as the campus is not far from the city.

- 9.00am Social Science to start the day off. What a great subject! We are learning how socialisation is the building block for who we are.
- 10.00am I have my IT class now. This is not one of my favourite subjects although I am sure that somewhere in the future I will be able to utilise the skills I have learnt.
- 11.00am Just in time for my English class. Although I am a native English speaker, there are always things that are new to me in this subject.
- 12.00pm First break of the day. This is a well-earned break after three hours of continuous lectures. I meet my fellow classmates downstairs and we catch up on any last bits of homework.
- 1.00pm The best class of the day is Australian Studies. I never knew that Australia’s geographical structure was so diverse. There are so many interesting and unique places to visit here.
- 2.00pm I’m off to Media Studies now.We are looking at Media as an institution. I’m sure this topic will be as captivating as the others have been.
- 3.00pm Time for a spot of lunch down at the local café and a great chance to kick a ball around for an hour.
- 4.00pm Last class of the day is Biology. We’ve just started a new topic called Ecology and in Australia when it comes to Ecology there is much to learn.
- 5.00pm Another day “done and dusted”. It’s time to go home and meet a couple of friends at a local café for a few drinks.
